About Me
Hi, my name is Christopher McCafferty and I am currently 20 years old. I am studying Computer Games Programming at Derby University. I live in private accommodation with two London friends called Aran and Stevie. I moved to Derby from West London where I studied Computer Games Development at Uxbridge College. I don’t miss London greatly as I am enjoying my time at Derby alot, I love the course I am on as its a challenge and its something that I enjoy learning. I like the friends that I am making in Derby, the hardest part about going to a UNI far from London is meeting new people from different areas of the UK and in some cases the world.

In my spare time I like to drink, ok that’s not entirely true, I do obviously play the occasional game but I tend to be working away either at home or UNI. Game Development is something I always wanted to do since a young age but getting to UNI has been hard, with being 20 and in my first year I thought I would be older in my course but I was wrong. Alot of people have taken a year off or screwed up there studies like I did. Other things I like to do in my spare time is socialise, so that is going to pub with some mates or talking to someone on MSN/Facebook.
Gaming wise I mostly play PC games as I have always been a Hardcore PC gamer, especially when I was doing my GCSE’s and A-Levels. Attending many gaming events in the UK (LANs if you know what they are). Games I have been playing on the PC for a while are COD4 and Company of Heroes. At Christmas I will be making myself a new PC so I can start hitting the newer games that have come out recently like Black-Ops and Crysis 2. I used to play COD4 competitively but haven’t really been in touch with the scene since then, I think it has gone downhill but I have met some brilliant people in real life with playing COD4.

My other interests include Music, I love Music as its a big part of my life. I am always blasting tunes from my bedroom (sorry neighbour). I don’t really have a certain type of music I listen to as I enjoy most genres of music but I am very keen on Drum n Bass and Dubstep. I love going out, getting drunk and have a good old rave (grandad style). Some of my favourite artists are Pendulum, Chase & Status, Enter Shikari and Lost Prophets. I am also a massive movie buff, I watch alot of television including the cheeky bit of Eastenders (AND WHAT!), I pretty much watch anything but my Fav movie at the moment has to be Scott Pilgrim!

So this little website is mostly for me to rant about random crap that you don’t really care about, I would be amazed if anyone is actually got this far down, I mean this is a huge essay about me! But kudos if you have got this far down.. heres a cookie!
